Compulocks Galaxy POS Chosen by Community Telco for Bendigo Banks Rollout with Samsung Australia
Samsung Electronics Australia and Community Telco Australia, the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank telecommunication subsidiary, just launched their own retail POS mobile payment solution called ‘redy’. Customers can make payments using their mobile device by simply scanning a QR code in the ‘redy’ application.
The app is available in Australia to anyone who uses a compatible smartphone. It can be linked to a Bendigo Bank savings account, or to any Visa or Mastercard account. No customer information or shopping data is passed onto the merchant for security purposes.
Every transaction with ‘redy’ is displayed on a dedicated Samsung Galaxy tablet at the point of sale. The Samsung tablet is securely displayed at every location by the HoverTab, the specially designed Compulocks Galaxy Tablet POS solution.
Compulocks was petitioned by Samsung and Community Telco to create a secure display solution specifically for their Samsung ‘redy’ tablets. They wanted a tablet POS solution that was equally secure, stationary yet flexible, affordable and lightweight. It was important for them that their employees have the option of carrying the tablet around the store, but can also easily and securely station it as a tablet display next to the cashier. The aesthetically pleasing HoverTab was created for this project.

It is a universal tablet POS stand for any tablet or smartphone.
The HoverTab is a two part solution, the first being an adhesive steel plate that connects to the back of the Galaxy Tab or smartphone. The second is the six inch high stand, sloped at a 60 degree angle for optimal viewing and comfort.
Over 1000 units of the Galaxy HoverTab are now deployed throughout Australia in every location that ‘redy’ is used. The service is currently being expanded throughout Australia.
